About Martine and Learn French Avec Moi

Tutor and founder of Learn French Avec Moi, Martine, was born and grew up in the Provence region of the South-East of France.

In 2014, she started tutoring in French in Bunbury, where she now lives with her family, while completing a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

In 2021, Martine graduated with high distinction, from the Alliance Française of Paris with a Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère  

Martine believes that learning a new language is a journey not a destination.

As a migrant herself, Martine is well placed to understand the apprehension and challenges learners might face when trying to communicate in a different language.

Martine’s courses are designed to make participants of all levels ready to communicate.

Speaking with the right intonation and a correct “accent” is quite an important element of communication in any foreign language more so than the number of words learnt.

Nothing is more discouraging than to be asked to repeat 3 or 4 times the same sentence.

Martine patiently guides students on the correct pronunciation of the French sounds.

Her classes have a unique and authentic “je ne sais quoi”, are lively and entertaining yet well-structured and professional.
